About The Book
**Rudraksha: From 1 Mukhi to 22 Mukhi — Traditional Significance, Scientific Perspectives and Guidelines for Wearing** is a comprehensive exploration of one of India’s most sacred and fascinating natural treasures. Associated with Lord Shiva and revered for centuries in spiritual traditions, Rudraksha holds a unique place in Indian culture, meditation, and traditional wellness practices.
This book presents a systematic study of all 22 types of Rudraksha, explaining their traditional significance, spiritual associations, symbolic meanings, and guidelines for wearing. Each chapter examines a particular Mukhi, discussing its botanical characteristics, commonly attributed benefits, traditional uses, and relevance to spiritual practices.
Bringing together ancient wisdom and modern scientific inquiry, the authors also explore Rudraksha’s physical characteristics, potential electromagnetic properties, psychological associations, and emerging research possibilities. The book carefully distinguishes traditional beliefs from scientifically established findings, encouraging readers to approach Rudraksha with spiritual respect and scientific understanding.
Written for spiritual seekers, researchers, students, devotees, and readers interested in India’s traditional knowledge systems, this work offers an informative guide to understanding Rudraksha, its cultural importance, identification, and practical use.
