About The Book

Life can be confusing. We worry about our future, overthink our decisions, struggle with relationships, feel lost in our careers, and sometimes simply wonder, “What am I doing with my life?” Arjuna had a similar moment.

Standing on the battlefield, he was confused, scared, and unsure about what to do. Krishna’s response became one of the most powerful conversations ever recorded – The Bhagavad Gita. This book, The Gita Reset, brings that conversation closer to everyday life.

In simple and relatable language, this book explores Gita’s ideas about purpose, action, relationships, fear, attachment, self-doubt, success, failure, peace and finding yourself. You don’t need to be a scholar. You don’t need to know Sanskrit.

You don’t even need to be religious. If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or simply needed some clarity, this book is for you.Because Kurukshetra isn’t just a place from the past. Sometimes, it’s the battle happening inside us.

And maybe, what we need isn’t a new life. Maybe we just need a reset.

About The Author

ANKITH S KUMAR is a counsellor, behavioural scientist, educator, TEDx speaker, and author whose work explores the intersection of emotional well-being, human behaviour, spirituality, and modern life.

With a Master’s degree in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work and over a decade of experience in counselling, psychiatric casework, student support, and therapeutic practice, he has worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, emotional struggles, and the search for meaning in an increasingly complex world.

He has conducted more than 300 workshops and training programmes across educational institutions, healthcare settings, industries, and public platforms across India.

A passionate writer and storyteller, Ankith believes that timeless wisdom should not remain locked behind difficult language or distant traditions. His writing style combines emotional honesty, modern reflection, and practical insight to make profound ideas accessible to today’s generation.

The Gita Reset is his third book and perhaps his most personal work yet, born from years of counselling conversations, inner reflection, and a deep connection with the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

Through this book, he reimagines the eternal dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna for readers navigating modern battles of anxiety, overthinking, burnout, identity, and purpose. His previous books include 100 Ways How Not to Screw Up Your Relationship, which debuted among Amazon India’s Top Hot New Releases, and I – Unfiltered, an introspective work exploring the emotional realities of modern life.

When he is not writing, counselling, or speaking, Ankith continues to explore philosophy, culture, human behaviour, and meaningful conversations that help people reconnect with themselves. “Every generation has its Kurukshetra. Every person deserves to hear Krishna in a language they understand.”
